Council has appointed Connie Ramirez to fill the vacancy created by the
election of Dolly Arons as Mayor. Ms. Ramirez owns a home on Miramar
Drive that was destroyed by Hurricane Ike. She will serve on council
until the City’s next general election is held in 2011.
